I really enjoyed this book, it has everything I love in a book. A beautiful coastal village, a cast of interesting characters, and a lovely, sweet romance. I would advise that you do read the first book in this series, Summer Kisses at Mermaids Point, prior to reading book two. I previously read and reviewed Summer Kisses at Mermaids Point and just fell in love with the town and its people. The characters are all so endearing and I can’t help but just love every single one of them. We meet old and new characters, laced with love, pain, loss, hope, new beginnings, gentle nudges to believe. Taking chances, long beach walks with the loveable dog and kids Max and Emily. Sometimes you have to go with what feels right and lay your fears aside. On another note: I am a leftie too, I hold my cutlery like a right handed person does.
